For a University group project me and my team had to animate a short clip of a new animated show which could potentially be pitched to Cartoon Network. The show had to be light-hearted and aimed at teens so we decided to create a wild west meets dragons theme. Our clip follows Little boot as he wonders off out into the world to prove his over bearing father wrong.
My main job within the team and for the production was to be the background artist. This was something I had never attempted before but I was more than up for the task. With the help of storyboards from my group and our mentor Sorcha I was able to go on and create background art which I was extremely happy with and were used in the final animation. Each piece I created was done so in Photoshop and I will show them below along with the final animation.
